All site plans are analysed for integrated visibility through two running modes.
Firstly, the site is gridded with squares representing 1 m2 or more. This initial analysis checks the visibility of each grid position in relation to one another, and then assigns a colour gradient to the results. Red representing the most visible, followed by green and then blue.
The second mode of operation requires more intimate
supervision, by checking the visibility of a site from one
particular vantage point, and purposefully shading high or low
visibility areas. This program is very useful for informing
the design process of where possible weaknesses may occur, and
for highlighting potential hub points within the site with
good visibility and interconnectivity.
